Well, its been a hectic week or two as the move to the new shop took place. Just up the road from our old shop is our new premises at 120 Bruntsfield Place. Its open for business, with work ongoing. The most exciting thing for me is the reason behind the move – the large room at the back which will be a dedicated Classroom/ Studio. It will be a better location for my Lampwork Torch and Equipment and I’m looking forward to inviting the public back to watch me make beads. The move means more courses will be offered at the weekends- including an even wider variety of Metal Clay courses. We’ll continue to teach the majority of out Metal Clay Courses in Art Clay Silver, but will also be introducing Courses in Art Clay Copper – the first being the class coming up in May with the super talented Carol Douglas. Its a very very exciting time and when looking through the photographs of our very first shop in Lady Lawson Street, comparing them to the where we are now I realise we have come along way ……. have a look at these photos to see our journey so far………….

At the first shop all our Metal Clay & Tools were displayed in this cabinet
we would never fit everything in there now !!
The Opportunity for a fantastic premises in a great location meant we moved shops after only a short while
We stayed there introducing 100′s of students over the years to the wonders of Metal Clay
We began to run Master Classes with Guest Artists – Sherri Haab being the first
Finally we are in our new shop. Here is a class being taught in Tiara Making !
And here is what will be an amazing Studio/Classroom!
Its so exciting, the shop is just quite simply a lovely space to be in!!
